Rules and regulations

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must use defuel supplied by the organization or you can bring your own.
• The fire breathers have 1 minute to give the maximum power to their flames with 250 ml of liquid.
• The performers have 1 to 5 minutes to impress de board of members in accordance to the criteria established by the organizer.
• The competitors need to fill the online registration form or register by mail with their demo and their picture before February 25th, 2010. The registration on the fire union web site is free: www.uniondufeu.ca
• The selected competitors will be contacted during the week of March 1st, 2010.
• Each artist have to sell 4 tickets at 20$. Tickets at the door will be 25$.
• Every performance must be solo.
• Every performer that will come out of the 10 feet x 10 feet security zone, will be disqualified.
• All means are good to impress and convince the public and judges in a respectful and artistic way.
• The performers must be in shape 1 hr prior to their performance.
• Any alcohol, drugs, medications, or any other substances that can affect the performance will not be tolerated before the performer’s presentation.
• Every performer should have an artist name that reflects the creation of their character and his universe (optional).
• Every artist has the possibility to bring his music on a well-identified CD. 1 song per CD per category.
• No violence, intimidation, verbal or physical threats will be accepted.
• Each artist is permitted to bring his personal technician which needs to be registered in the registration form for the cost of 15$. If not, the artist can benefit of a technician on the spot.
• Lodges and showers will be provided for the fire breathers and performers.
• All performers, without exception, must sign a release.
